The second is a presentational approach to worship. Here worship consists of a series of packaged presentations to the “audience,” so that they may hear the message. The error of both forms of worship is that they do not recognize the Divine side of worship.2 Worship itself, to say nothing of its impact upon church health, is far too important to be left to either liturgical preferences or cultural whims. Nothing indicates the health of a church any more accurately than the worship life of the people.
